Spring has sprung, and Street Medics Dallas is back in the field! Today we split up to do 2 events.
The Denton team headed to Transgender Storytime, held at Armadillo Ale Works to provide a safe event for families of trans kids. Street Medics were on hand to hand out water and treat any injuries. Chairman Meow reported the event was well attended and there were very few incidents.

Meanwhile in Dallas, SMD teamed up with Food Not Bombs to provide community care for the unhoused of Dallas. Food Not Bombs served dinner, and SMD offered health check-ups. Although it was not a super busy day today, we did hand out water, masks, and snacks, and checked people’s blood pressure and glucose levels.

If you are interested in volunteering with us, shoot us a message and we’ll add you to our Discord server. That’s the quickest way to find out where we’ll be next.
